Dividend Tracker Android App

Dividend Tracker is an Android app that allows you to add stock symbols and view their dividend history. You can view a stock's prospective yield based on the existing 5-year dividend payment history.

The apps displays 3-month, 6-month, 1-year and 5-year charts.
The stock symbols and data come from the Yahoo Finance web site.

To add a stock symbol, click on the + icon at the top of the screen and type a stock symbol or name. Double-click on the row with a stock symbol to view the dividend history. To delete a stock from the list, long-click the row with a stock symbol and click 'Yes' in the dialog box.

If you have a tablet you can view a stock list and charts side by side.

  1. App will not let me add a stock. I type the ticker in the search field and it will not search. I've tried basic tickers O & T and nothing happens.

  5. I loved when you provided future months & how much dividends will be received in what month from what stock. Outstanding!
Unfortunately I've migrated off Android and onto Windows 10 ecosystem. Now have business laptop, Surface Pro 4 tablet & Lumia 950 phone all running Win 10.
Boy if you could port your app to Windows, not much competition in the Win Store for dividend trackers.
Android Div Tracker highly recommended and gets 5 stars from me.

    1. Porting to Windows is something like a long-term goal. It's a totally different code base.

  7. Enjoying your app. Works very well. Query:Is there any way to change end date in the total return calculator? If not, please consider adding to a future update as this would facilitate analyzing historical period returns.

First of all, this is a great app. I love its minimalistic featureso, and I have been using it for about 3 months now. However, ever since 3 weeks ago or so, the dividend history information or price charts have stopped showing up. This persists even when I reinstall the app. Please have a look if you are available. I will reinstall again soon. Thank you.

  32. Hello,

I like the app but I have some request to do.

Is it possible to add in a future update the dividend for the pay date, not the entire dividend. Also, I would like to add the number I have so I can see how much money I'll have on pay date.

    Thank you

    ReplyDelete
  33. If I understand it correctly, you'd like the app notification to display the amount of dividend due based on a number of shares you have. Is that correct?

    ReplyDelete
  34. Yes, that's it.

I want to know the dividend value monthly or quarterly for the number of shares I have

  38. The dividend paying dates are wrong. I have for example :
DF.TO, supposed to be paid on november 10 and the app said november 9.
Same thing for CJR-B.TO, november 29 instead of 30 (real date).
I have FN.TO the next dividend is november 15 and the app, december 14
